Terms & Conditions

1. QUOTATIONS

1.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise in writing.

1.2 Quotations are based on measurements and information provided by buyer unless a professional survey has been carried out by the Company or its authorised representatives.

1.3 Prices may change if:

  • measurements are altered,
  • specifications or designs are changed, or
  • errors or omissions are discovered.

1.4 No contract exists until the quotation is accepted in writing and any required deposit is received.

2. BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 The Buyer is responsible for ensuring all information provided is accurate, including measurements and site conditions.

2.2 The Buyer must provide safe, clear access to the property for delivery and installation.

2.3 The Buyer must inform the Company of any issues such as uneven walls, restricted access, hidden wiring, plumbing, or structural concerns.

2.4 Additional costs arising from incorrect information, restricted access, or unforeseen site conditions shall be payable by the Buyer.

3. STOCK SHORTAGE & PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

3.1 All products are subject to availability from suppliers.

3.2 If products become unavailable, discontinued, or delayed, the Company may offer:

  • a suitable alternative,
  • a revised delivery date, or
  • a refund for unavailable items only.

3.3 The Company is not liable for supplier delays beyond its reasonable control.

4. DELIVERY

4.1 Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

4.2 The Company is not liable for delays caused by suppliers, transport issues, weather conditions, or events beyond reasonable control.

4.3 The Buyer must inspect goods upon delivery and report any damage or shortages within 48 hours.

4.4 Risk passes to the Buyer upon delivery.

5. INSTALLATION

5.1 Installation dates are agreed subject to availability and site readiness.

5.2 Installation may be postponed if the site is unsafe, inaccessible, or if information provided is incorrect or incomplete.

5.3 Additional charges may apply for repeat visits or delays caused by the Buyer.

5.4 The Company is not responsible for damage caused by hidden pipes, cables, weak or defective surfaces, or structural issues, including plaster, render, tiles, decorative finishes, or previously weakened surfaces, unless caused by proven negligence.

6. GENERAL LIABILITY

6.1 The Company will carry out services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6.2 The Company’s liability is limited to the value of the goods and services supplied.

6.3 The Company is not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential losses,
  • loss of profit, income, or business,
  • delays caused by third parties or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

6.4 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

7. WARRANTY

7.1 Products are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty where applicable.

7.2 The Company provides a 12-month workmanship warranty on installations.

7.3 Warranty does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear,
  • misuse or neglect,
  • accidental damage,
  • water or fire damage,
  • unauthorised repairs or alterations.

7.4 Faults must be reported in writing within a reasonable time, and in any event within 14 days of discovery.

8. CONSUMER RIGHTS (UK)

8.1 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be:

  • of satisfactory quality,
  • fit for purpose, and
  • as described.

8.2 Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

8.3 These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. DISTANCE SELLING & CANCELLATIONS

9.1 If you order online, by phone, or away from business premises, you may have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

9.2 Custom-made or made-to-measure products (including blinds, shutters, and curtains) are exempt from the 7-day cancellation period once production has begun.


10. PAYMENT

10.1 A 50% deposit is required before orders are placed.

10.2 Deposits are non-refundable once an order has been placed with the manufacturer or production has commenced on made-to-measure items.

10.3 Full payment is due upon delivery or completion of installation unless agreed otherwise in writing.

10.4 Late payments may incur recovery costs and statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (where applicable).

11. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
